Single-Serve 5 Minute Microwave Chocolate Muffin

I was going through some of my photos and came across this old picture of one of those email recipes I got a long while back. I followed the recipe to a 'T' since it sounded simple enough, and look at the results. It looks disgusting but it really wasn't that bad. It was a bit on the rubbery side but we all had a taste of it and it was gobbled up none-the-less. If you have a 9-1-1 chocolate emergency craving, this might just hit the spot!

Microwave Mug Cake
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. oil
3 tbsp. chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash vanilla

Measure flour, sugar, and cocoa in a large mug. Mix well.

Add egg and mix well.

Add milk and oil and mix well.

Add chocolate chips and vanilla and mix well.

Microwave for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. If it looks like it's going to overflow, stop and adjust the power level a bit. There's no exact science to this, so do what you think is right, or you'll end up with a yummy mess like I did!
