Homemade Burgers Patties & Coleslaw

Tonight's dinner was an easy one. After a huge delicious lunch at a Northern Chinese Restaurant, I knew I wasn't going to be in the mood to cook. During my trip to Costco this morning, I picked up a pack of lean ground beef and some buns from the grocery store. Coleslaw is delicious, but not sure how nutritious cabbage really is. I'm not sure if cabbage really offers a lot. Is it like eating lettuce where it's all water content? Can't be sure but if you toss it together with a few other things, it provides enough crunch to make a delicious salad .

The little one below the hotdogs is a mini "Crabbie Patty".
Burgers

2-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 pack dry Lipton Onion Soup
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
1 egg

Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well until combined. Shape into desired sized patties and cook on grill until desired doneness.

YUMMY!

Yummy Coleslaw

1/2 small cabbage, chopped or slivered
2 carrots, grated
2 apples, grated
1/2 small red cooking onion, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro (optional)
black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup bottled Creamy Coleslaw dressing or enough to coat all the ingredients

Toss everything in a large bowl and serve!
